Growing up in the Lone Star State of Texas, I was exposed to the timeless sounds of legends like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings to name a few. These guys ignited a spark within me, and from an early age, I knew that music was in my heart and soul.
In the 90s, during my High School years, I found my place in a punk rock band. Fueled by youthful energy and raw, authentic expression, I poured my heart and soul into every performance. From that point onward I was hooked.
My musical journey has been an unpredictable rollercoaster, from playing for massive crowds numbering in the tens of thousands to intimate shows with only the bar staff as an audience, the stage became my sanctuary. There were moments of triumph, with songs featured on national television and unforgettable performances on esteemed platforms like The Today Show. But like any artist, I've also faced the daunting challenges of creative blockages, navigating the turbulent waters of self-discovery, and learning to embrace vulnerability.
Yet, through every high and low, my connection to music has remained unwavering. It's been a journey of love and necessity – an essential part of my identity that has shaped my life in ways beyond imagination.
Music has granted me the privilege to communicate emotions and experiences that words alone could not capture. It's a universal language that transcends barriers and touches hearts. And as I continue to walk this musical path, I am humbled and grateful for every moment that I can share my voice and stories with the world.
